Dr. Burak Ersen was born in Mersin. He completed his medical education at Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine as the second in the department with a full scholarship. In the 5th year of his education, he studied at the University of Groningen, Netherlands. He completed his Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery specialization training at Uludağ University Hospital.
About
After completing his specialization, he worked in Kastamonu within the scope of state service obligation. During this period, while performing plastic surgery-related operations on many patients, he was accepted as a member of the European Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association (EBOPRAS) with his success in the written and oral exams held in the Netherlands and Belgium. After completing his duty in Kastamonu, he performed many and varied aesthetic and cosmetic operations in Istanbul and Bursa. He worked temporarily at Uppsala Akademikliniken University Hospital, Sweden.

He is a member of Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association (TPRECD), European Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association (EBOPRAS) and Istanbul Medical Chamber. He is fluent in English and Swedish.
